What coaching is and isn’t

Coaching concentrates on present day issues and moving forward. Coaching is not counseling.  Coaching does not work on past issues or mental health diagnoses.  My job as a coach is to assist you in finding strategies to positively move ahead in life.  Goals are very important as we will use these to assess forward motion.  Homework is required.  My job as a coach is to assist you in finding the tools to move forward in a matter of several sessions.  I will encourage on life change when necessary.

If we begin meeting and we start to find there are some mental health issues or past trauma that needs to be addressed, I will refer you to counseling.  Your whole health is of utmost importance.

Areas we can work in coaching to address include, but are not limited to: health and wellness, career, relationship, and parental coaching.

Former Client Testimonials

  • “Staci Woods has mentored and worked with my children as their youth pastor for several years. She has taken time to build relationships of trust and honesty. As a coach she as worked with them individually she has helped them to realize goals and establish steps towards attaining those dreams. Her compassion for those she works with is sincere and it remains what has inspired her to train for her career as a life coach.” ~ S.T.

  • "Staci has supported my child through coaching services, helping him to work on social skills, communication and self-esteem. She is amazing! Staci is great with kids, with patience, understanding and an awesome sense of humor!” ~K.K.

  • “When I was bullied in school, she always stood by me and helped me to realize my self worth. Not many people really check in on you, but she always has. She would even go out of her way to set up coffee dates to see how I was doing. Always having the right words to say, and the courage to help others in ways that are sometimes inconvenient, her coaching has been a component in my growth as a young man.”
